- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cream together the butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix just until combined.
- Fold in the blueberries gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a sweeter bread, increase sugar to 3/4 cup. Gently fold in blueberries to avoid crushing them. Experiment with lemon zest for added flavor.
