- 1 package chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1 package Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
- Additional Oreo cookies for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and water in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies into the batter.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
- Spread chocolate frosting on the top of one cake layer, then place the other layer on top.
- Frost the top and sides of the entire cake with the remaining chocolate frosting.
- Decorate the top with additional crushed Oreo cookies.
