A comforting meal featuring juicy meatballs in rich gravy served with creamy garlic herb mashed potatoes.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic until combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in size, and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, boil the potatoes in a pot until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain and mash them with garlic, butter, milk, parsley; season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a frying pan, whisk flour over medium heat for about a minute.
- Gradually add beef broth while stirring until it thickens, then stir in soy sauce.
- Once the meatballs are done, coat them in the gravy and serve alongside the mashed potatoes.
Notes
Serve hot, topped with fresh parsley. Store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
