Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can (12 oz) tuna, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, peas, milk, and cheese (if using). Mix well.
  4. Stir in the cooked noodles and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with breadcrumbs evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding diced onions or garlic. You can use different types of pasta or substitute tuna with shredded chicken.
