Delicious and convenient overnight oats that are protein-packed and perfect for a healthy start to your day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 scoop (about 30g) vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 cup (120g) Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 2 tablespoons (30g) cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup (180ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1/2 cup (75g) fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the rolled oats, vanilla protein powder, and chia seeds until everything is evenly mixed.
- Gently fold in the blueberries and lemon zest if you are using it.
- Divide the mixture evenly between two mason jars or airtight containers. Seal them tightly and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.
- The next morning, stir the oats before eating. If they are too thick, add a splash of milk.
Notes
For extra creaminess, use full-fat Greek yogurt and cream cheese. You can change the flavor using different protein powders.
