Description

Delicious and convenient overnight oats that are protein-packed and perfect for a healthy start to your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 scoop (about 30g) vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup (120g) Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/2 cup (75g) fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the rolled oats, vanilla protein powder, and chia seeds until everything is evenly mixed.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries and lemon zest if you are using it.
  5. Divide the mixture evenly between two mason jars or airtight containers. Seal them tightly and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.
  6. The next morning, stir the oats before eating. If they are too thick, add a splash of milk.

Notes

For extra creaminess, use full-fat Greek yogurt and cream cheese. You can change the flavor using different protein powders.
