Description

A delicious and comforting one-pan meal featuring tender chicken, creamy sauce, and cheesy goodness.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice into strips.
  4. Add heavy cream to the same skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in mozzarella cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta and sliced chicken with the sauce, tossing to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian herbs or lemon juice before cooking. Use fresh mozzarella for a creamier texture.
