Description

Crispy and flavorful potato balls using leftover mashed potatoes, Parmesan cheese, and garlic. Perfect as a snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups leftover mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the leftover mashed potatoes, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, and egg in a large bowl. Mix well until fully combined.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the potato balls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftover potato balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze after cooking. Reheat in the oven or air fryer.
