Ingredients
- Canned yams (sweet potatoes)

- Brown sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Milk
- Marshmallows

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Drain the canned yams and place them in a large bowl. Mash the yams with a fork or masher.
- Mix in melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, milk, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with an even layer of marshmallows.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For added crunch, consider adding chopped nuts on top before baking. Adjust sweetness per taste.
