- 4 fillets Cod (or haddock/tilapia)
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Lemon Wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Start by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil.
- Once the oil is hot, place the cod fillets in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown.
- Carefully flip the fillets and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
- While the cod is cooking, melt the butter in a separate pan over low heat.
- Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper into the garlic butter.
- Once the cod is cooked through, drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the fillets.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
