- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- Whipped cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the cooled coffee and vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan. Drizzle some caramel sauce over the batter, then add the rest of the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Drizzle remaining caramel sauce over the top before serving with whipped cream.

For best results, ensure butter is at room temperature and coffee is cooled before use.
