Description

A delightful dessert combining rich coffee and caramel flavors, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • Whipped cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the cooled coffee and vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan. Drizzle some caramel sauce over the batter, then add the rest of the batter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce over the top before serving with whipped cream.

Notes

For best results, ensure butter is at room temperature and coffee is cooled before use.
