Description

A delicious combination of a hearty sandwich and fresh salad, perfect for lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 3 sub rolls
  • 1/4 pound salami
  • 1/4 pound pepperoni
  • 1/4 pound turkey
  • 1/4 pound provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Whisk together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Add the shredded lettuce and sliced vegetables to the dressing; mix until well combined.
  3. Divide the meats among the sub rolls and layer with provolone cheese.
  4. Broil the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.
  5. Add fresh tomato slices and grinder salad on top before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize with your favorite vegetables. Make the dressing ahead of time to save prep work. Store components separately in the refrigerator.
