Description

Delicious and easy-to-make cheeseburger sliders perfect for gatherings and game days.


Ingredients

  • 2 lb lean ground beef (90/10 or 93/7)
  • 8 slices medium cheddar cheese
  • 24 dinner rolls
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 large yellow onion (finely diced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and butter a rimmed baking sheet.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sauté diced onion until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula while cooking. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; cook until browned.
  4. Drain excess fat and mix in the mayonnaise until well combined.
  5. Cut dinner rolls in half and place the bottom halves on the baking sheet. Layer with sliced cheese, spread the beef mixture evenly, and top with shredded cheddar.
  6. Cover with the top halves of the rolls, brush with melted butter, sprinkle sesame seeds, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
