- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Combine breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in one bowl.
- Whisk together the eggs and milk in another bowl.
- Place flour in a third bowl.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, followed by coating with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the breaded chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheeses mixed with minced garlic.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite dressing before breading. Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best results. Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
