- 8 ounces pasta (your choice)
- 2 cups white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large pan.
- Add the pasta, broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
- Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the liquid.
- Stir in the white cheddar and mozzarella cheese, mixing until melted and creamy.
- Remove from heat and let sit for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
Best served hot, this dish can also be paired with a fresh green salad or crusty bread.
