Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Shrimp (fresh or frozen)
- 8 ounces Lump Crab Meat (fresh is ideal, canned can substitute)
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (can substitute with Monterey Jack)
- 4 ounces Cream Cheese (full-fat is best)
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise (Greek yogurt can be used for a lighter option)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard (yellow mustard is a substitute)
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning (Cajun seasoning can be an alternative)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (fresh garlic can be used if preferred)
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper (can substitute with white pepper)
- 1 can Refrigerated Biscuit Dough (any brand or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons Butter (melted, for brushing)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley (can substitute with chives)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the biscuit dough package.
- Combine the shrimp (if using frozen, make sure they are thawed and deveined), crab meat, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Open the refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit with your hands or a rolling pin.
- Spoon a generous amount of the shrimp and crab mixture onto the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the stuffed biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for the amount of time specified on the biscuit dough package, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
