Description

A delicious Indian-inspired dish featuring tender chicken marinated in spiced yogurt, perfect for grilling season.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the yogurt, tandoori masala, garlic paste, ginger paste, lemon juice, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has charred spots.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.

Notes

Marinating the chicken overnight enhances flavor and tenderness. For a vegetarian option, replace chicken with paneer or veggies.
