Description
A delicious Indian-inspired dish featuring tender chicken marinated in spiced yogurt, perfect for grilling season.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the yogurt, tandoori masala, garlic paste, ginger paste, lemon juice, and salt to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has charred spots.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
Notes
Marinating the chicken overnight enhances flavor and tenderness. For a vegetarian option, replace chicken with paneer or veggies.
